How to troubleshoot a pending transaction

A pending transaction means a transfer has been started but has not yet been completed.

Because Zucoins uses a two-way transfer process, both the sender and recipient must complete the transaction before it is finalised.

Before You Begin

  • Knowledge of whether you're the sender or receiver of the pending transaction

Troubleshooting

Problem: The receiver hasn't confirmed my transfer yet.

Cause: Zucoins explains this can mean the receiver hasn't pasted the transfer code within the time period, or has pasted it but not yet tapped "confirm" to accept the transfer.

Solution: Check with the receiver that they've both pasted and confirmed the code, and remind them of the time remaining before it expires.

Problem: My transaction shows as taking too long to prepare.

Cause: Zucoins describes this as an extremely rare issue where the transaction being prepared has either invalid data or has taken too long to prepare.

Solution: Try sending the transaction again.

Important Notes

  • A transaction will remain pending until the receiver accepts and confirms the transfer.

  • Transfer codes have a limited validity period. If the receiver does not complete the transfer before expiry, the transaction will need to be started again.

  • If you are the sender, you can check the progress of a pending transfer from your wallet rather than waiting for the transfer to complete automatically.
