Sending Zucoins allows you to transfer value directly from your wallet to another wallet on the SplitChain network.
Zucoins transfers are wallet-to-wallet, have no default transfer fees, and are completed once both the sender and receiver confirm the transaction.
Before You Begin
Your Zucoins Wallet installed, with a sufficient balance
The receiver's wallet address
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open your Zucoins Wallet and select "Send."
Why: This starts a new outgoing transaction.
Enter the receiver's wallet address, and the amount you want to send.
Why: Zucoins' wallet checks if the address you've entered is valid before continuing, to help prevent sending to the wrong recipient.
Choose the pricing method for the transaction, if available. Options may include market price, custom price, or comparison price.
Why: See "How to understand the difference between market price, custom price and comparison price" for what each option means.
Set a transfer expiry time, or use the default, if prompted.
Why: This determines how long the receiver has to confirm before the transfer code expires.
Share the resulting transfer code with the receiver, either via push notification or by copying and pasting it to them.
Why: The receiver needs this code to accept and confirm the transfer.
Wait for the receiver to confirm.
Why: Zucoins uses a two-way transaction process, so the transfer isn't complete until the receiver has actively accepted it.
Troubleshooting
Problem: My sender balance looks incorrect after sending.
Cause: A temporary connection or synchronisation issue may have occurred during the transaction.
Solution: Refresh your wallet. If the balance is still incorrect, restore or resynchronise your wallet following the official Zucoins recovery instructions. If the issue persists, contact Zucoins Support.
Important Notes
Always verify the recipient's wallet address before sending Zucoins.
A transfer is not complete until both the sender and recipient have confirmed it.
If the transfer expires before it is accepted, you'll need to create a new transfer.
Wallet-to-wallet Zucoins transfers do not incur transaction fees.
