Why did my transfer expire?

Zucoins transfers have an expiry period to ensure incomplete transactions do not remain active indefinitely.

When a transfer is created, the sender and receiver must complete the required steps within the available time. If the transfer is not completed, it will expire and a new transfer will need to be created.

Common Causes

Transfers may expire if:

  • The recipient does not complete the transfer in time.

  • The sender or recipient closes the wallet before the transfer is complete.

  • There is a temporary interruption during the transfer process.

What to Do

If your transfer expires:

  1. Start a new transfer from the sender's Zucoins Wallet.

  2. Keep both the Zucoins Wallet and Zutopia open (if trading through Zutopia) until the transfer is complete.

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transaction.

Important Notes

  • Once a transfer has expired, it cannot be resumed and must be started again.

  • If transfers continue to expire, ensure both users are ready before starting the transaction.

  • If the problem persists, contact Zucoins Support for assistance.
