How to use a custom price for a transaction

When sending Zucoins, you can choose to use a custom price instead of the current market price.

This option allows you to set a specific value for the transaction, which can be useful when you and the other party have agreed on a different price.

Before You Begin

  • A Zucoins Wallet.

  • An agreed price, if applicable.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Start a "Send" transaction in your Zucoins Wallet.
Why: Pricing options are presented as part of creating a transfer.

  2. Select "Custom price" instead of market price.
Why: This tells the wallet to use a price you specify rather than the live market rate.

  3. Enter the source or details for the custom price, if required.
Why: Some custom pricing options may require additional information about the price source.

  4. Continue with your transfer as normal.
Why: The transaction will use your custom price rather than the live market price for this transfer.

Important Notes

  • A custom price only applies to the transaction you're creating.

  • Using a custom price does not change your wallet's default pricing or comparison settings.

  • If you're using an external pricing source, ensure the pricing information is entered correctly before completing the transaction.
